“Autumn’s surgery went well this morning. Some titanium plates and screws were placed to repair her skull fracture. The fracture above her right eye was also repaired. Hopefully, that will resolve the sluggishness that we’ve noticed that pupil has had in reacting. She has been sedated most of the day. Her neuro checks haven’t been real great, but this is probably due to the anesthesia. Right now, we are concerned with her heart rate. It’s in the 150’s, and she has spiked a fever of 102.9.”
Blood is currently being drawn to check for infection, and they’re using ice packs, tylenol, and fans to try to bring her temperature down.
Praising Jesus for a smooth surgery; please pray for a restful night for Autumn & family, for no infection, and for her temperature and heart rate to drop to normal levels!
